So I have this new job. I'm a research assistant for a professor at the business school, which is terrifying because it's the newest building on campus and resembles some awful combination between a shopping mall and the Capitol, stuffed full of geniuses with business suits. Naturally, my interest in this position arose from my notorious, lifelong adoration of business and economics which I have somehow neglected to mention to you, ever. Nothing to do with the delightful pay.
Anyway, this job, like many aspects of the adult world that have come into my life in recent time, is in some ways so stupid and bad that it's comical. For instance, today my task was to look at a spreadsheet with a huge list of companies on it and determine whether each one elected its Board of Directors annually, or less frequently. If they elect them annually, they get a zero in column E. Otherwise they get a one in column E. I did thirteen hundred lines worth of this. Rock and roll.
One nice thing about college is that I sleep from like midnight to eight, which in generally is a lot more refreshing than my high school sleep hours of eleven to six. So almost every night some friends and I watch anime before bed, except last night we took a break and watched Dawn of the Dead. Miraculously, I had no zombie dreams last night. Perhaps it's because I lay awake going nozombiedreamsnozombiedreamsnozombiedreams for an hour.
Just kidding. I was up rekindling my diary, duh.
